IS THE MONEY
COMING
FROM?
One
Sterling Pound or two US dollars can provide four nutritious meals,
feed four hungry children. To provide ten million meals we are going
to raise two and a half million sterling pounds or five million US dollars.
That
is a lot of money. But we should not be overwhelmed. It is very easy
to raise that money. Let me show you.
Can
you do this simple thing?
Can
you give one sterling pound or two US dollars? If you can, it will
provide four meals.
Now,
can you ask your friends to give one sterling pound or two US
dollars? If they can, every single pound, every two dollars, will
provide four meals, feed four hungry children.
Believe
me, if you can do this simple thing, two and a half million sterling
pounds will be raised, that is five million US dollars. Ten million
meals will be provided to hungry children. We will all be partners in
that karma.
This
karma will
not stop at
Ten
Million Meals
It
will go far beyond
We
will be doing it together.
We
will all be partners in this on-going karma.
Can
you do two simple things?

Everyday everyone of us is spending money here and there for various
things. When you pay for your coffee or lunch or dinner, when you put
gas in your car or pay for your shopping, can you put one dollar
aside for hungry children? It is just a dollar. It will not make any
difference to you. But it will make a world of difference to those
hungry kids. They will get to eat that day.
If
you put aside just one pound everyday or just two dollars, you will
feed four hungry children everyday. If you do this you will be making
deposits in your Karma Bank everyday. All those deposits will come
back to you many times more. If you don't do it, well, you didn't do
it. So what do you expect to get?

This is new. No one has ever done this before. So you might think
this is crazy. But believe me, this simple thing has the power to
feed hungry children by the millions. Seriously, it will raise money
to provide food to millions of children every day. All it requires is
for you to do a simple thing.
Become
a "Two-Percenter" (2%er)
Some
time back we started asking store owners to give us two percent
discount on our purchase. We would send that money to feed hungry
children in India, one percent in their name, one percent in our
name. It started working very well. Store owners were gladly giving
us the discount. No one said 'no'.
So
we started spreading the word and many people in UK and California
statred doing it. First we were asking for the discount only at
grocery stores. Then some people started asking at restaurants and
coffee shops and then at other stores. Now everyone is asking for it
everywhere they shop, even on-line. If they are buying something they
are asking for two percent discount and they are telling the owner or
manager what they are doing with the money. The good part is, every
store is giving it. So far, not even one store has declined it. It is
amazing. There is something magical about this thing.
Word
spreads fast. This is becoming a new reality in retail business. Day
by day it is becoming more popular. Customers love it because they
are able to help the hungry children every time they buy something.
Business owners love it because it helps their business. It looks
like this new trend has Divine blessings because it does good in the
world without hurting anyone.
When
you buy anything anywhere ask for your two percent discount. Retail
stores are offering it in every ad. On-line stores on every page,
with every item. If you don't see it, ask for it. Tell them what you
are going to do with the money. Believe me, all you need to do is
ask. Business owners spend lots of money to create goodwill with
customers. Here they are doing it with a nominal two percent
discount. They love it.
In
the beginning you might hesitate because you have never done this
before. Don't worry, you will feel good after you do it a few times.
Then you will never stop doing it.

With
the rest of the money, you should do this:
You
can do this alone or you and your friends can make your own group,
put everyone's contribution together, take contributions from
neighbors if you like, and sponsor Childrens Day events in your
hometown or state or anywhere you like to help. Schools and colleges
put their proposals on YouTube and other sites. You can pick the
events you want to support.
You
should also do this if you can. Support a regular everyday lunch
program in a school. Work directly with a school in your hometown or
state or anywhere you like to help. One way to choose a school is to
sponsor a few events, participate in those events or visit them if
you can, stay in regular contact with them and get to know them. Then
send your support to them direct and be involved with them as much as
you like.
Many
stores may want to get more involved, register their own non-profit
organizations, involve their customers and support charity kitchens
directly. You or your group can team up with a store in your area.

your first video and post it on YouTube, MySpace and all other
sites. This video is just to say "Hello" to everyone.
Introduce yourself and your group, say where you are (city and
country) and just say something about the two-percent or the charity
party, how you're going to play your part, what you're going to do,
etc. If you're doing somethng, talk about that. This is all very
casual, you're not presenting a plan.
This
is a very simple thing but there is a very big purpose for doing it.
Making this video will energize you. It will energize your whole
group. The more thought and effort you put in making it, the more
positive energy you will create within you and around you. Positive
energy makes all good things happen. Staying in positive energy
circle helps us in everything we do. Not only you and your group,
your video will energize everyone who will see it.
