IN INDIA
WE
WILL DO THIS FOR YOU
Please
teach your children to do mantra jaap and sing bhajans, dhoon,
Hanuman Chalisa. Help them practice everyday. Please contact us when
they can do 10 minute mantra jaap or dhoon or Hanuman Chalisa in a
proper rhythm in small or big groups. We will pay a professional
videographer in your area to record it, make a video and put it on YouTube.
We
will instruct the videographer to put your school name, address and
other info in the video. Also put name and age of every child doing
the mantra jaap. People from all over the world may send gifts and
donations directly to you when they see your video on YouTube.
Same
for singing bhajans. Children who are gifted with good voice can
sing bhajans, in any language, also bhajans from films. They can sing
solo or duet or in small or big group.
If
your children continue to practice and do different mantra jaap and
sing different bhajans and dhoon, we will pay to make more videos.
You can also record on your own if you can. Put your videos on
YouTube, send us the links. When you have five or more videos on
YouTube we will consider your need for financial assistance to
purchase musical instruments and to have a regular sangeet teacher.
MAA
volunteers will help you create your own channel on YouTube. You can
do it on your own if you like or do it with the help of volunteers
and others in your local area. It is very easy. For proper
recognition, the name of your channel should be the same as the name
of your school. It will be confusing if you put any other name. The
TAG for all videos should be "schools-(your district)-(your
state)" EG: If you are in Rajkot District in Gujarat, your tag
should be "schools-rajkot-gujarat". People will search for
videos in the district they want to help.
Your
Video in Our DVD Series
If
we think your children can inspire other children we will include
their video in our "Children Praying for Children" DVD
series and distribute it worldwide. Also include them in our bhajan
and mantra CDs. We distribute our audio CDs and DVDs FREE OF COST and
we permit everyone to make copies and share with everyone.
However,
we can never produce enough DVDs to include videos of all schools.
We can only produce a few DVDs and include a few videos. As such,
many videos will not be included even if they are very good.
It
is important that you understand this.
In
making these videos and DVDs, to raise funds for all your needs is
not the purpose. If that be the purpose we would never achieve it.
The purpose is to make you visible to people around the world so
interested donors and volunteers may contact you and you may develop
long lasting relationships with them. That is the way to improve the schools.
To
make that happen, people in your organization must know how to
interact, how to work with Indian people living in different
countries. If you don't know you must learn. Without this, making you
visible to the world will bring no benefit to you.
Therefore,
to participate in this program you must do two things:
(1)
You must have a Public Relations Committee with minimum three
people, five would be better. Everyone in this committee, if they are
not already very familiar, must learn how to interact effectively
with potential donors and volunteers living in different countries.
Please form your committee and introduce everyone. Please also send a
recent photo of everyone. You must do this before you make your first
video. Please send it to:

You must have an International Committee. You must seek and invite
people from your district or state living in different countries to
be on this Committee. They will be very helpful to you in many ways.
MAA
volunteers will be available to provide guidance in your public
relations and all other matters. They will not do the work for you,
they will only provide guidance. You will need to do all the work.
DONORS
Please
send your donation directly to the school you want to help. You can
send it at any time, but it would be nice if you send it during the
first 30 days.
You
can specify to the school how your donation should be used. We
recommend that you specify the same as we are doing it. Please read
"ALSO THIS" below.
If
you send your donation to Mata Annapurna Ashram, we will use part of
it to help more schools make more videos. That is the best way to
help the schools. We will use part of it to give gifts and donations
as written below. That is the best thing we can teach our children.
Please send your donation thru PayPal or give it to our Donation
Agent if you know the agent personally.
VOLUNTEERS
You
may be in India or abroad. If you like to help the schools in your
home district, please contact the schools you like to help. You can
work alone or form your own group of volunteers. If you like to join
our team we welcome you. Please introduce yourself and tell us
briefly what role you would like to play and in which district.

THIS
With
the schools' videos on YouTube people around the world will see our
school children doing mantra jaap and singing bhajans, dhoon and
Hanuman Chalisa. Many people will send donations directly to you.
Many adults and children will send gifts to children. We are
suggesting to everyone that they do it during the first 30 days. Many
people will send it later on also.
AFTER
30 DAYS WE WILL DO THIS
We
will choose a few videos from the ones that do not receive any
donation or gift during the first 30 days.
FOR
EACH VIDEO WE WILL GIVE
Five
Hundred Indian Rupees to the child or group of children doing the
mantra jaap or singing the bhajan, dhoon or Hanuman Chalisa. For each
video the children doing mantra jaap or singing in that video will
share the amount equally. This will be personal gift to the children.
They can spend it as they wish. We will stipulate measures to ensure
that the children get this amount and have the freedom to spend it as
they wish.
PLUS
We
will give the children another Five Hundred Rupees to help other
children. The
children, along with other children in the school, will discuss and
plan who to help and how to help. The children will make all the
decisions and do all the work. Teachers and parents only provide
guidance and supervision but please do not make any decision, nor do
any work, and please, no unnecessary control. Let the children do it
on their own. Yes, they will make mistakes. That is how they learn.
After
they do a few projects and become comfortable and confident in their
new role, we will arrange to record their whole project in action and
put it on YouTube, also make DVD and distribute Free of Cost.
Children can be role models. They can inspire and encourage other children.
AND
We
will donate One thousand Indian Rupees to the school. This money
must be used to purchase musical instruments and/or other things that
help the children in singing and playing music.
This
also applies to non-profit pathshalas, bal-vihars and sangeet
classes if you have ten or more children practicing everyday.
HOW
WE WILL SELECT VIDEOS
We
will select only from those that do not receive any donation or gift
from anyone during the first 30 days. We can select only a few, not
many. So many videos may not be selected even if they are very good.
Please do not inquire about the status of your video. If your video
is selected we will contact you and send you the money immediately.
If you don't hear from us during 31 to 60 days from the day you
upload your video, that means your video was not selected.
