PROJECT
COORDINATORS
Project
Coordinators work in teams, five or more in one team, atleast two or
three of them will be residing in their district in India, others
anywhere in the world. One team will coordinate projects in only one
district in India. Numerous teams will be working in every district.
A group of friends can make their own team to work in a district of
their choice or please tell us the district you would like to work
for. We will assign you to a team. Most proposals will be in local
language of the district, not in English. So please choose a district
in your home state. Your team will work with the schools, NGOs,
Parents Groups and College Students Associations seeking funds for
Childrens Day. You will review their proposals on YouTube, make
contact with them and give them any guidance and assistance they
need. The groups seeking funds will make all preparations for the
event and do all the work. Your part is to provide guidance and
assistance where needed and to coordinate funds.
You
will also work with donors, read and respond to their emails
pledging funds, stay in contact with them. You will also work with
the videographers. They will record the proposals and upload them on
YouTube. They will also record the celebrations and make one hour DVDs.
You
must be a team player and must be absolutely positively dependable.
You must devote atleast one hour a day for this work, sometimes more.
This is voluntary work, no pay. If you are seriously interested
please introduce yourself.

WAYS TO DO IT

If you have your personal profile anywhere on the internet, just
send us the link.

This is the best way to do it. Make a video to introduce yourself.
Talk about the role you see for yourself, what you would like to do,
how you would do it. Put it on YouTube, MySpace, any site, so people
around the world can see it. Introduction in this manner will help
people planning to help in the same district/state make contact with
one another, form their own groups, plan ahead. Do it in your
language since you would be more involved in your home
district/state. Do it in English also if you like to work with people
from other states.
